Soaking the Gel Fit Rope in water for 1 hour and measuring it! Here are the results of the tests we conducted!

We would like to introduce the test results of the immersion weight change measurement of our concrete joint water stop material "Gel Fit Rope." The test involved leaving the product submerged in water and measuring its weight (measured on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 30). After installation, in a state of water pooling (still water) within the formwork, the internal bentonite did not decrease in weight. It is believed that the bentonite that leached to the surface protected the interior, preventing any weight loss. 【Summary】 ■ Test specimen: Gel Fit Rope, L=190mm, immersed in water for 1 hour and weighed (85g–87g) ■ Test content: Left submerged in water and weighed (measured on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 30) ■ Test results: No change in weight of the test specimen (100–105g) even after 30 days of immersion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

If a flowing condition within the formwork is anticipated, please shorten the time until concrete placement as much as possible.

We would like to introduce the results of the repeated weight change measurement of the concrete joint water stop material "Gel Fit Rope" conducted by our company. Starting with 1 hour of immersion, the test specimens were weighed daily and the contaminated water was replaced with clean water. As a result, a 24% reduction in weight ratio was confirmed on the 8th day (after 7 water replacements). 【Summary】 ■ Test specimen: Gel Fit Rope, L=190mm, immersed in water for 1 hour and weighed (85g–87g) ■ Test content: Daily weighing of test specimens and replacement of contaminated water with clean water ■ Test results: A 24% reduction in weight ratio was confirmed on the 8th day (after 7 water replacements) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The situation before the installation of the formwork was recreated externally, and measurements of the test specimen were conducted one month after its installation!

We would like to introduce the test results of the weight change measurement due to rainfall for our concrete joint water stop material "Gel Fit Rope." The test specimen was weighed after being immersed in water for 1 hour (L=1800mm), recreating the situation before the external formwork was installed, and measurements were taken one month after the specimen was set up. After 30 days of being left undisturbed, the weight of the specimen was 290g/m, resulting in a weight ratio of -6.45%. 【Summary】 ■ Test specimen: Gel Fit Rope, L=1800mm, weighed after being immersed in water for 1 hour (310g/m) ■ Test content: Recreating the situation before the external formwork was installed, with measurements taken one month after the specimen was set up ■ Test results: After 30 days, the weight of the specimen was 290g/m, with a weight ratio of -6.45% *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
